The Dewey Kvidt Memorial Duathlon was an annual event held from 2011 to 2015. The race offered a 5K run/walk, 10K run/walk and run-bike-run duathlon for all ages and skill-levels of athletes.

Proceeds of $10,000 annually from 2011 – 2015 went to the Kvidt Memorial Fund that was created in memory of Dewey Kvidt, a Grand Forks resident that touched the lives of many people through his passion for all types of fitness. For the next 5 years, the Dewey Kvidt Memorial Duathlon proceeds will be allocated to the Dewey Kvidt group exercise room for yoga at Choice Health & Fitness.
