In staying close to our mission of contributing to and promoting healthful lifestyles in our community, each year we partner with different associations, organizations and agencies to provide close to 50 programs and special events in order to give you the best experience.
This campaign developed into a project unlike any other in the nation. Now called Choice Health & Fitness, this facility will inspire transformational change within our community. The unique project will impact the way our nation addresses health and wellness in the future.

The construction of the ICON Sports Center was achieved through The Legends & Heroes Campaign. The campaign was created to build a two sheet youth ice arena for hockey and figure skaters in the Grand Forks community.
The Grand Forks Park District Living Tree Campaign allows individuals to dedicate trees – in honor, in memory or just because. This program allows Grand Forks residents to honor and/or memorialize their family, friends and/or relatives with the planting of a living tree in a local park.

The Skatepark Committee, along with the GF Parks & Rec Foundation, are teaming up to raise the final funds needed to update and relocate our local Skatepark to Kannowski Park.
A “Building Fields of Dreams” Baseball/Softball Campaign was created in 2012 to address the need for a new multi-diamond complex. The complex is planned for just north of South Middle School, along South 20th Street and has been named the Scheel’s Sports Complex.
More than 40% of children in Grand Forks qualify for Park Activity Scholarships. With your donations, we will continue providing a nurturing environment of fun activities to all children within our community.
The Veterans Memorial Park Campaign is the vision is to build a Veterans Memorial Park in Grand Forks near 24th Avenue South and 34th Street South where the legacy of American military Veterans can be recognized and honored.
